My name is Geraline Savoia, and I’m proud to be running for a seat on the Oroville School Board. As a member of this community, I believe our students deserve every opportunity to succeed—not just academically, but as confident, capable individuals who know they matter.
Students are my top priority. I’m committed to supporting programs that help them discover their talents, build their confidence, and feel connected to their school community. Every student should have the chance to be seen, supported, and inspired—whether through academics, the arts, career training, or extracurricular opportunities.
Professionally, I’ve worked in compliance, ensuring organizations follow policies, procedures, and contracts with integrity. I understand how to navigate regulations and make sure systems work the way they’re supposed to. I’ll bring that same level of accountability and structure to help our schools operate effectively and responsibly—always with students at the center of every decision.
I also recognize that in order to support students, we must support our teachers. That means creating a district culture where educators feel respected, heard, and motivated to stay and grow in Oroville. When we support our teachers, we strengthen our entire district.
I’m running for school board because I believe in the future of Oroville—and that future begins with our children. Let’s work together to build a district where every student can thrive.
